Frequently Asked Questions

After losing my father in 2021, I realized how short life is and accepted that I will be writing until I die, since the skill and habit has been part of my life for 20+ years.

With a career outside of writing, self-management pushed me to write high-quality work and pursue traditional publishing. The experience is life-giving. At this point, it is natural that I evolve into an author.

I'm constantly working on characters and world-building. The best time when new ideas strike is when I listen to instrumental music, or when I speculate existence and the beyond.

I'm surrounded by new ideas all the time. There's always something unique and compelling that my stories or characters can adopt.

If I were blocked, it's not a writing problem, it's a personal problem.

I would examine my lifestyle, routine, unconscious behavior and habits, and strive to give myself rest, rejuvenation, meditation, long walks in nature, picnic days and unplug from what's depleting me.

  1. Limiting beliefs: there's no money in writing and publishing
  2. Low self-esteem: Writers are born with the talent or it's for creatives only
  3. Misinformation: Traditional publishing is impenetrable
  4. Unmotivated: Not enough time, or too busy
  5. Habits: Dislike of reading and writing daily
  6. Oversaturated Market: Reading is a "passion" market, new readers are born every day

Mara, Daughter of The Nile by Eloise Jarvis McGraw.

My family is aware that I've been writing from the age of 12. I struggled to show my work because I wasn't confident and oversensitive to criticism.

For years my work was read by anonymous people online, who grew into lifelong fans.  <3

Their encouragement solidified the habit of writing daily. I told my mom about The Painted Veil, and she wanted to read the book immediately.

It took a little over a month to put an edited version in her hands, and it was received well.

Finally, I gave it to my mentor who reffered me to a Times bestselling author, where I received valuable feedback.

I used to find inspiration from books when I was a teenager. Now, the spectacle of life inspires me.

As I grow older, my understanding of life is the root cause of how I write and the themes that develop.

A common theme is a second chance, or a fresh start, a new life.

It reminds my readers that although life can change any second, starting fresh, or trying again is always available. You just need a little courage.

Study what inspires you, because it'll smarten the quality and world-building of your books.

Share your work immediately with others, and understand why it was received the way it did.

Write vulnerably and write naked. Paper does not forget, but paper does not judge either.

Finally, a book is never finished, it another edited version of your last draft. Keep improving.

Escape From The Gods poured out of me when I lost my father. Death is an overarching concept in the book, but it is to understand death why the protagonist sets on a journey of adventure, and growth.

Echelon: Affinity review

JENNA MOLI

" I think I can safely say at this point, I like Echelon more than King and Consort, which has been one of my favorite story for YEARS. The love in this story is just so out of this world, and beautiful. I hope Adrienne will soon make up her mind and be with Xavier wholeheartedly and openly. I'm really curious and excited about how she'll activate the Blood Summon. "

King & Consort review

" Your writing is breathtakingly beautiful and you portray Syer in a way that has me squealing every time he has a scene, but you are seriously killing me. Please for the love of God, tell me they will at least kiss soon or something! Or at the very least, for her to know he is King! But I adore this story. I just ask, please don't break my heart. Please, let them be together!"
